Automated Ultrasonic Corrosion Mapping (AUT)
Corrosion mapping by Ultrasonic testing produces true Top-View (C-scan) or Side view (B-Scan)
of the ID surface profile for quick condition analysis of the item under inspection. C-Scan is
presented in the thickness color mode easy to understand. Exact thickness of the minimum
location area of corrosion or pit can be measured and overall data can be exported in .csv file

Scorpion B-Scan
The unique, dry-coupled ultrasonic wheel probe eliminates the need for couplant or a
constant water supply. The twin-crystal ultrasonic transducer combined with a unique
rolling probe face allows for a fast and easy setup
Applications
- Ultrasonic thickness measurements on ferrous material.
- On vertical surfaces such as oil storage tank shells, towers and stacks
- Minimum circumferentially and axially dia is 1.5m (59”) to Flat
- Minimum external diameter 3.0m (10”) axially and 3.0m (10”) circumferentially.
- The maximum surface temperature up to 40℃ (176℉).
